Friday Afternoon

A tumbling block finished by Elsie - it's going to be sold at the MCC Auction next year.

Another that (I think) is headed for MCC, put together by Kath and Kathy.  Hand quilted by Dora.

Kath's Jelly Roll Race

Kathy's gorgeous pinwheels.  Her piecing is so precise.

Kath's venture into FMQ

Kath's joy quilt

Dora's double wedding ring, finished from a top that made its way to MCC.  Several stained pieces needed to be replaced and the border removed.

Currently on Dorothy's new Millie.

A block by Dora.  She is going to take out the orange and put in a green.

Today at Dora's

There were a lot of show-and-tells at Dora's today.  Here is a quilt that Laura put together using a donated pieced top from one source and borders from another.  They look made for each other!  This quilt will be available to bid on at the 2013 Coaldale MCC Auction.

Dora's coasters

Laura and Elsie are making this for a wedding gift - it is king size and done entirely of plaid patterns.

Some of the things on Kath's to-do list:

Yo-yo vest #1
and
Dora's quilt made from the 100 charm pack that we all received a few years ago.

Kath's quilt and Dora's using the same fabrics.
and
Kathy's Angel quilt.

Yo-yo vest #2 and a pastel "Apple Box" quilt top from Lisa for LBCQ to tie.

Another "Apple Box" Quilt.

Susan, Tena, Judy and Norma were missing.  Katherine was going to come by in the afternoon after I left.  Please pray for Norma as she broke her arm and is going into surgery today.

2010 MCC Auction

The MCC Auction in Coaldale is just around the corner!  Click here to visit the auction portion of this year's event.  So far the only quilt on the site is Elsie's tie quilt, but as soon as yours truly is able to enter LBCQ's 16 submissions, I hope more will pop up.  Stay tuned - those quilts will also hit this blog.  I hope.

March 25

This is the quilt we are currently working on.  It is quite nearly completed.

Our newest member, Cora.

This is a unique thimble made by Clover.  Elsie picked it up in Arizona.

This is an orphan that Lisa rescued from the MCC thrift store, sandwiched and machine quilted.  It will be for sale in June.
