Elsie dumped all the balls she made on Katherine because Katherine said she would put decorative stitching on the seams.Little Bits of Comfort is a group of friends interested in quilting. We meet every Thursday night. The quilts we make are donated to the Juarez Orphanage and MCC. Little Bits of Comfort is also a devotional coffee table book being sold to raise money for the Juarez Orphanage.

September 10
Kathy made this quilt and Kath quilted a large part of it. She found a fan pattern that she used to make clam shapes on some of the squares. This matched the seashell pattern in some of the fabrics.

August 5
We met at Dora's today for coffee and show-and-tell.
Dora, Kath, Kathy, Elsie, Dorothy, Tina, Shirley and Lisa were there.
A while back, Dora gave us a class on how to applique. She used flip flops as her example. She made hers into a pot holder.

The last time we met, we made balls and bags. Kathy S really liked them and proceeded to make lots.

MCC finds
Dora works in the fabric section of our local MCC. She brings the best finds for us all to look at and to decide what to do with. Some we buy for our own use, some are repaired and put up for sale and yet others are used for quilts that we will sell at the MCC Auction next year.
